MindsEye Tech’s sole focus is healthcare legacy data management. Our goal is to assist small and large healthcare organizations in addressing the challenges associated with the proliferation of hospital and practice legacy information systems and to provide effective solutions for the orphan financial, clinical, and scanned data trapped on those systems. 

The Capstone legacy data-focused organization is headed by Tom Mulstay and Andy Tegoli who have worked together for over 40 years and have extensive experience in the computer and healthcare informatics industry. Tom is the general business manager, and Andy is the vice president of systems development for a national clinical information systems vendor that delivers an FDA–regulated software product to market. Consequently, both bring deep expertise in Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs) in software development, data migrations, clinical archives, and systems integration. 

Mr. Tegoli developed the philosophy and architectural design for the Capstone Unity product and Archive Methodologies in the late 1980s and 1990s while under FDA review and scrutiny as a medical device manufacturer and for the delivery of the Hemocare blood bank system.

This process was applied and expanded in 2001 to include full HIS AR detail, financial, and clinical data migrations and custom archives with great success. The Capstone Unity and the supportive services that surround it are the culmination of the many data migration and custom archive development efforts achieved over the years.

The Capstone Unity embraces a vendor-neutral philosophy that incorporates all discrete financial, clinical, and scanned data in a design that provides secure access to a “one patient, one record” approach to legacy data within an efficient legacy data repository. 

The legacy data transition management team will provide the following products and services:
